Hisense Opens New Canadian Headquarters

Hisense Canada has set up a new regional Canadian headquarters in Mississauga, ON, about 40 minutes outside of downtown Toronto. Effective July 1, Hisense Canada will be operating out of the main floor in the office building at 2550 Meadowvale Boulevard.

“Hisense is rapidly growing as more consumers become aware of the quality and value we offer in home electronics and appliances,” says Quanli Chen, General Manager of Hisense Canada. “This is a brand with a strong global presence, and our new base of operations in Mississauga will be a strong foundation for future growth of the brand in Canada.”

Hisense arrived in Canada in August 2012, and over the last decade in the country, has expanded to offer not only its TVs and other electronics, but also appliances and air products. Hisense cites The NPD Group’s Retail Tracking Service 2022 that named the brand the fastest-growing TV brand in Canada among the top five.

Through the new head office, Hisense will manage the sales of its range of products for Canada, including LED and laser projection TVs with built-in features like Hisense’s VIDAA operating system as well as Android and Roku TVs. The brand also offers short-throw laser projection TVs, soundbar packages, and portable speakers.

In home appliances, Hisense Canada introduced a full kitchen suit, including a refrigerator, range, and dishwasher, back in early 2021, but the brand’s refrigerators have been available in Canada for some time. The expanded home appliance line now also includes stand-up and chest freezers as well as wine and compact fridges.

In the air line, Hisense offers portable air products, including portable and window mount air conditioners, some of which come with smart controls, along with dehumidifiers.

Hisense products are available at many electronics, home, and furniture retailers across Canada.
