Hypershield Bluetooth Locator

HyperShield Universal Locator is an AirTag, Tile Alternative

Bluetooth trackers are popular nowadays for keeping tabs on everything from your keys to your luggage and even your kids and pets. Hyper is joining the market with the new HyperShield Universal Locator, a compact Bluetooth locator that works similarly to Apple’s AirTag and Life 360’s Tile.

In fact, the HyperShield Universal Locator is even compatible with both Apple’s Find My and Find Hub networks, so you can leverage the massive population of iPhone and Android users around the world to help locate lost, missing, or even stolen items.

“With our new HyperShield Universal Locator, we’re empowering modern, mobile consumers to keep track of their valuable essentials, whether they use an Apple or Android device,” says Gabi Iorio, Director of Global Sales and Marketing, Hyper. “By pairing simple, intuitive location finding with a durable design, we help people protect what matters for greater peace of mind, wherever they go.”

Lightweight and durable, the HyperShield Universal Locator offers a 50-foot Bluetooth range for being able to play a loud sound alerts to find where the item is. There’s also last-known-location position. If the item is outside of the 50-foot range, you can use Apple Find My or the Find Hub network to try and pinpoint its position. Note that you can only connect to one network at a time: switching would require a factory reset.

One detail worth noting is that it uses a replaceable battery, so you don’t have to worry about trading in the device once the battery dies. It’s easy to swap it out, presumably with a traditional coin cell watch battery.

The HyperShield Universal Locator is available for US$20.
