At IFA 2024, currently taking place in Berlin, Satechi has launched three new upgraded slim multi-port adapters, which the company says provides greater connectivity for Mac and PC users.
The 4-in-1 Slim Multi-Port Adapter 4K, 6-in-1 USB-C Slim Multi-Port Adapter, and 7-in-1 USB-C Slim Multi-Port Adapter with Ethernet provide stronger power delivery and faster data transfer speeds while remaining at the same price point as its predecessors.
Each adapter features a sleek aluminum enclosure with a tangle-free braided cable and a reinforced neck for optimum durability. They combine multiple ports into one compact device, making them ideal for professional content creators and photographers, remote workers, business professionals, and more.
The 7-in-1 USB-C Slim Multi-Port Adapter with Ethernet has a Gigabit Ethernet, 4K HDMI (60Hz), 100W USB-C PD charging, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and micro/SD card readers.
The 6-in-1 USB-C Slim Multi-Port Adapter is equipped with 4K HDMI (60Hz), 100W USB-C PD charging, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, one USB-A 2.0 port, and a micro/SD card reader.
The smallest of the bunch is the 4-in-1 Slim Multi-Port Adapter 4K with 4K HDMI (60Hz), 100W USB-C PD charging, and two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports.
Satechi upgraded the USB-A data ports on all three multi-port adapters to support the latest 3.2 Gen 2 standard, delivering a blazing-fast data transfer rate of up to 10Gbps. This helps maximize efficiency with twice the speed of a conventional USB-A connection.
With charging and input capabilities up to 100W, the 4-in-1 Slim Multi-Port Adapter 4K, 6-in-1 USB-C Slim Multi-Port Adapter, and 7-in-1 USB-C Slim Multi-Port Adapter with Ethernet can power a wide range of professional-level devices with ease, especially when compared to the 60W limit of each former version. Thanks to this powerful charging, the new adapters can support even the most demanding peripherals so you can perfect a gaming or work setup.
These adapters are significantly slimmer than traditional multiport adapters, says Satechi, helping to minimize clutter. They also employ a slimmer, rounder, more compact USB-C connector to facilitate a better connection with devices in protective cases, while the tangle-free braided cable with a reinforced neck provides enhanced durability.
The adapters come in Space Gray, Silver, and Black to complement the Apple ecosystem of products.
Satechi’s 4-in-1 Slim Multi-Port Adapter 4K, 6-in-1 USB-C Slim Multi-Port Adapter, 7-in-1 USB-C Slim Multi-Port Adapter with Ethernet will be available on September 26 for US$60, US$70, and US$80, respectively.
