IFA 2026: Jackery HomePower 1000 Plus V2 Gives You Back-up Power at Home, Power on the Go

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Jackery showcased its new HomePower 1000 Plus V2, an 1800W power station for powering up household appliances, outdoor power tools, laptops, lighting, and more, both at home in case of emergency and on the go, like at a campsite. Starting from a 1024-Wh base capacity, its modular architecture supports a maximum capacity of up to 11 kWh using Jackery’s 2 kWh expansion batteries, so it can work in larger commercial venues as well.

When you consider all the events we have been experiencing of late, from local power outages to massive storms like the one that happened in Ontario just as IFA kicked off in Berlin, backup power is something every home should have.

The 1800W-rated sustained output and peak 3600W surge capability, distributed across four pure sine-wave AC outlets, can drive roughly 80% of standard household appliances and heavy-duty power tools. It also has DC output options, including 140W and 30W USB-C Power Delivery ports, an 18W USB-A port, and a 12V/10A automotive-type power socket.

Basic AC charging provides an 80% top-up from empty in just 36 minutes, with AC flash charging and hybrid AC+DC charging reaching a full charge in as little as 50 and 47 minutes, respectively. The unit’s dual DC inputs also support solar panel and DC-DC alternator charging at up to 400W, delivering a full solar charge in as little as 2 hours and 43 minutes. Once you keep it charged up, it’s there for use when needed.

To safeguard sensitive equipment during brownouts and blackouts, HomePower 1000 Plus V2’s integrated uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system transfers connected devices to battery power in 10 milliseconds or less when instability hits. This instantaneous switchover keeps desktop PCs, Wi-Fi routers, and refrigeration systems online without rebooting, losing data, or damaging sensitive components. Inline 3kV/1000J surge protection shields connected electronics from harmful spikes during severe weather or grid malfunctions.

Use the mobile app to prioritize output at the circuit level and keep the most important devices up and running. As battery reserves run low, de-prioritized circuits disconnect, dedicating remaining power to critical loads like refrigerators without affecting the power station’s operation as a whole. Additionally, Time-of-Use (TOU) peak shaving lets households automate charging during off-peak hours and save energy for peak windows, reducing electricity bills.

Powering the HomePower 1000 Plus V2 are premium LiFePO4 battery cells that are rated to maintain at least 70% capacity after 6,000 charge cycles. The battery implementation promises an operational lifespan of about 16 years based on daily full charge and discharge cycles.

Automotive-grade construction using a Cell-to-Body (CTB) integration process results in cells fused directly to the battery chassis, creating a sturdier, more compact unit measuring 12.4 x 7.9 x 9.2 inches and weighing 23.8 lbs. It supports charging at temperatures as low as 14°F (-10°C).

During residential blackouts, the HomePower 1000 Plus V2’s 1024-Wh baseline capacity can maintain a standard refrigerator for up to 19 hours or power critical heating equipment through a freezing night. On job sites and unpowered outdoor projects, its 1800W output accommodates heavy equipment and mobile workstations without the fumes and noise of gas generators. During outdoor excursions, RV travel, and camping trips, you can enjoy off-grid power as needed.
