Marshall Adds Three to 60th Anniversary Hendrix Tribute Line

Marshall continues its tribute to Jimi Hendrix through an expanded, cosmic‑inspired anniversary collection, marking 60 years since Hendrix first plugged into a Marshall amplifier. This latest in the line includes the Major V, Emberton III, and the Studio Vintage amplifier. The products draw from the cosmic imagery, exploration of space, and use of colour woven throughout Hendrix’s music, art, and creative world.

The Major V on-ear headphones come in a rugged, foldable design. Finished in sleek black with psychedelic graphics and subtle Hendrix-inspired details. A striking purple oil-on-water design flows throughout the inner headband and ear cups, finished with the all-seeing eye motif.

The Emberton III anniversary edition portable Bluetooth speaker has a purple oil-on-water design across the sleeve and through the grille. The all-seeing eye appears in silver on the media jog and is accompanied by purple LEDs. The silicone sleeve is hand-dipped using a water transfer print, making each piece entirely unique. You get more than a full day of listening on a single charge.

Finally, there’s the JMH Studio portable amplifier, which is made by hand in the Marshall factory in Bletchley, UK. It reimagines the design of the classic Studio Vintage amp with expressive cleans and deep blues textures. It’s built from quality plywood and is wrapped in black Tolex. It features black and purple in a psychedelic pattern across the fret and control panel, complemented by a purple LED indicator.

Drawing on Hendrix’s distinct personal style and the silver jewellery that became part of his visual identity, intricate silver beading is woven throughout, detailing the knobs, handle, logo, grille, and back panel. The all-seeing eye badge, derived from Hendrix’s fascination with the third eye and expanded vision, sits on the top and bottom of the stack, completing the design.
