Marshall Debuts Heston 60 Soundbar, Heston Sub 200

Marshall has introduced its new Heston 60 compact soundbar and the Heston Sub 200 subwoofer.

The Heston 60 is designed for versatility in placement, delivering big sound with Dolby Atmos for three-dimensional entertainment. With the same look and feel as the Heston 120, it has tactile controls, a woven salt-and-pepper fret, and PU leather finish. It comes in black and cream and with dual mounting options, meaning it can be placed flat against the wall or standing on a TV bench. As a result, the logo and control panel are both magnetic to accommodate each option.

Multi-wireless connectivity, including Wi-Fi and the latest Bluetooth technology with Auracast, plus integrated music services, make it simple to listen to your favourite playlists. You can select from different sound modes covering Movie, Music, Night, and Voice to boost effects during family movie night or reduce them for the late-night watcher.

Meanwhile, the Heston Sub 200 comes with the latest Bluetooth LE Audio wireless technology so it’s easy to move around to find the best positioning to blend into the interior at home.

Available in the same black or cream finishes, it has customized presets and enhanced sound modes, which you can access through the Marshall app. Once the soundbar is up and running, Heston Sub 200 fits seamlessly into the existing app setup. You can also pair and control both Heston TV soundbars with the Heston Sub 200 from within the app.

Additionally, both Heston 60 and Heston Sub 200 are repairable with replaceable parts including the fret, end-caps, drivers, and circuit boards on the Heston 60 and the fret, feet, drivers, and circuit boards on Heston Sub 200.

“For Heston 60, we took inspiration from the Heston 120, putting extra focus on instrument separation and clear vocals, while still producing powerful sound for its size,” says Ed Camphor, Audio Technology and Tuning Lead at Marshall Group. “Our intention was to also tailor it to be great for TV and movies without compromising its sound for music. One thing that’s new with Heston 60 is the flippable design. We spent lots of time on placement with weeks of modelling going into wave guides to make sure the sound is just as good, whichever way its mounted.”

“The Heston Sub 200 is designed to enhance the TV setup, adding an extra, deep bass that you can feel,” adds Anders Olsson, Senior Product Manager at Marshall Group. “Whilst our larger soundbar, Heston 120, is engineered to be a stand-alone unit with great bass performance, this subwoofer allows for even deeper bass for those who want it. For our smaller soundbar, Heston 60, this is a great addition and creates a flexible and versatile setup without compromising on performance – a real ‘power couple.’”
