The Motorola moto g stylus 5G – 2024 joins the moto g family in North America, featuring an improved stylus, large display, powerful battery, and advanced camera system.
Employing a sleek design, modern colour options, and a soft, vegan leather finish, the phone has a 6.7-inch pOLED ultra-wide, full HD+ display with an adaptable 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a fingerprint-resistant design and IP52 water-repellent build to for protection against splashes.
The built-in stylus has a new design, larger contact area, and improved software for faster and easier navigation. The reduced latency affords a smoother experience, simplified note-taking, and new UI to easily access stylus features. Choose from various apps and favourites appear as soon as you pop out the stylus.
Along with fun features like Live Message and GIF Maker, there’s also optical character recognition (OCR), which allows you to extract text from a written or printed document, digitize it with Moto Note, then edit or reuse the text.
The new moto g stylus 5G also has DCI-P3 and 10-bit colour support, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos support. There’s also an advanced 50MP camera system with Ultra Pixel technology and Optical Image Stabilization. When lighting becomes a challenge, the camera responds by combining every four pixels into one large 2.0µm Ultra Pixel, resulting in four times better light sensitivity, says Motorola. Two additional cameras include an ultrawide lens and Macro Vision lens. There’s a 32MP camera and Quad Pixel technology on the front camera.

The Motorola moto g stylus 5G arrives with Android 14 and comes with Motorola software features like Moto Secure 2.0, Moto Unplugged, and Family Space. It will be available in Canada starting May 30 for an MSRP of $500.
