Neurable and Master & Dynamic MW75 Neuro Smart Headphones Track Your Brainwaves

Neurotechnology company Neurable Inc. and audio brand Master & Dynamic have launched the MW75 Neuro smart headphones which integrate with Neurable’s brain-computer interface (BCI) technology to help wearers gain insights into their cognitive health, manage burnout, and enhance daily performance.

As the first BCI-enabled consumer-grade device of its kind, these headphones are built on the foundation of Master & Dynamic’s flagship wireless headset. But they also add Neurable’s advanced AI-powered electroencephalography (EEG) sensors into the headphone’s ear pads. The BCI-enabled EEG sensors capture and analyze brain signals to generate detailed brainwave data that offers valuable insights into focus levels and more.

There are many smart features in the headphones. They work with the Neurable app, available for both iOS and Android, where you can access your brainwave data from a compatible mobile device, this includes brain trend summaries and productivity tips. You can also use the M&D Connect app to adjust your EQ with in-app sound profiles, access additional ANC modes, and download updates for the MW75 Neuro from your mobile device with the M&D Connect app.

There’s also Focus Tracking whereby the EEG sensors allow you to track focus and review brainwave data, including optimal focus time and the impact of various activities on concentration. Burnout Management uses brain wave analysis to prompt you to take breaks when focus decreases, which in turn is designed to help you prevent burnout. As with most new tech products, the headphones use AI data analysis and signal processing to record and interpret brain signals. The headphones have EEG sensors embedded in the ear pads that can carry 12 channels with soft fabric sensors. They have a bandwidth of 0-131 Hz with True DC Coupling.

As standard headphones, the NW75 Neuro delivers a premium audio experience as well as comfortable design for lengthy wearing sessions. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.2, they include AAC, aptX adaptive, and SBC. They have a custom 40mm Beryllium driver, eight microphones to filter out external noise for clear calls and music listening. There’s also Adaptive Ambient and noise cancellation modes (ANC), which automatically adjust to your surroundings.

“The brain serves as the core of our health and well-being, yet we have only scratched the surface of what is possible by understanding and harnessing its power,” says Dr. Ramses Alcaide, CEO and Co-Founder of Neurable. “In partnership with Master & Dynamic, we are eager to bring the future of neurotechnology to the world with the debut of our groundbreaking MW75 Neuro smart headphones. These headphones mark the beginning of BCI-enabled technology for all, with the development of future use cases already underway.”
