Nixplay Upgrades Hardware, Touchscreen in New Smart Photo Frame

Nixplay has introduced a new smart photo frame that features upgraded hardware and touchscreen capabilities that allow for easier photo and video sharing.

The new 10-inch Smart Photo Frame Touchscreen doesn’t come with a remote this time – instead, you can swipe through photos and videos easily with a tap of the screen. It comes in matte-black with a gold trim and features a proprietary wall-mounting detachable stand designed to hang on walls or stand anywhere.

“We’re so excited to unveil our smartest Smart Photo Frame yet with touchscreen capabilities, users can now easily view photos and videos without the click of the remote control,” says Nixplay Founder and CEO Mark Palfreeman, who says touch capability is a “popular feature requested by our Nixplay community.”

Nixplay’s new Smart Photo Frame Touchscreen is equipped with photo-sharing apps and platform integration features, such as Google Photos, Dropbox, Facebook, Instagram, and Amazon Alexa integration, and end-to-end encryption for photo and video privacy sharing. Using Nixplay’s app-connected software, family and friends can share their favourite memories from their phone or by e-mail to their own or other Smart Photo Frames.

The Smart Photo Frame Touchscreen includes HD screen resolution (1,280 x 800) and can display photos in both landscape/portrait orientation. It starts with 8GB of storage. Later this year, the Smart Photo Frame Touchscreen will come in wood, white, and silver.

The Nixplay Smart Photo Frame Touchscreen is available for order on Nixplay.com, starting at US$210.
