The OPPO Find 5 is dubbed the “world’s thinnest” book-style foldable phone, and it will be available in a limited selection of countries (sadly, not including North America) starting February 28, 2025. It will launch first in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong with more markets set to follow shortly.
Available in Cosmic Black and Misty White with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, it measures just 8.93mm thin when folded and is just 229 grams. Outfitted with flat sides and a contoured metal frame, the Cosmos Ring design highlights the Hasselblad Master Camera System. It’s also the first foldable to sport an IPX9 water resistance rating. The 7000-series aluminum alloy frame and ultra-durable nanocrystal glass enhance structural integrity and drop resistance.

The OPPO Find N5 measures 8.12 inches when open, and has 6.62-inch cover display with a 20.7:9 ratio when closed. Its Dual Shielded Flexible Screen offers nine layers, increasing impact resistance by 70%. It offers a smooth 1-120Hz refresh rate, over 2000 nits peak brightness, and TÜV Rheinland’s Minimized Crease Certification. Additionally, the device supports OPPO Pen for enhanced creativity. Find N5 features an ultra-high capacity 5600mAh OPPO Silicon-Carbon battery and supports 80W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. Wireless charging is supported with an OPPO magnetic case.
The first foldable to launch with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, Find N5 boasts AI performance with a 45% boost from its Hexagon NPU. Its Hasselblad Master Camera System includes a 50MP periscope camera for tele-macro shots, while Hasselblad Portrait Mode and Dolby Vision 10-bit video.

Launching with Android 15, Find N5 will receive five years of security updates and is powered by ColorOS 15. It features Boundless View for multi-tasking, AI Search for efficient searches (coming soon via an over-the-air update), AI Call Summary for transcribing and summarizing calls, and dual-screen translation for seamless communication. There are AI photo tools as well, like AI Eraser, AI Clarity Enhance, and AI Unblur. ColorOS 15 also introduces Circle to Search with Google, and you can access the Google Gemini app for an AI assistant for writing emails, planning events, and more.
With the O+ Connect app for Mac installed, seamlessly share photos, videos, and files across devices. O+ Connect even supports remote access, so you can easily pull files from your computer to your Find N5 remotely or control your Mac when on the go. Touch to Share also delivers one-touch sharing and receiving from iOS and iPadOS devices with your ColorOS smartphone.
