Roku Launches its First Self-Manufactured TVs in Canada

Roku TVs are already available in Canada through brands like TCL, Hisense, and Philips. But now, the company has launched its first-ever self-manufactured and fully branded TVs in the Canadian market.

Called the Roku Select Series, the TVs start at 50 inches in size, and boasts QLED 4K technology. They are designed to offer a premium viewing experience while also being affordable. Naturally, each one comes loaded with the intuitive Roku TV interface, which affords access to all your favourite streaming services as well as the free The Roku Channel, which offers tons of exclusive content through its 200+ live channels, which include news, weather, and sports along with original content. You can use the included remote or the Roku app to control them.

Additional features include customizable home screens and fast navigation. They are simple to install and a bottom LED turns off during viewing for an uninterrupted, theatre-like experience. Using Roku Smart Picture, the TV automatically optimizes settings based on the type of content you’re watching. There’s also Bluetooth Headphone support so you can enjoy private listening, perfect for a dorm or late-night viewing while the baby is asleep. There’s an option to pause live broadcasts and a built-in remote finder as well.
