The Segway E3 electric scooter is coming to Canada through an exclusive retail partnership with Best Buy. The electric kick-scooter is now available for pre-order through the retailer.
The entry-level model within the E-Series will sell for $500 on pre-order, down from its regular MSRP of $700 through both the Best Buy website as well as the retailer’s 90 retail locations across Canada. It will officially be available starting July 18, 2025. It will also be available later this summer directly through the Segway official Canadian webstore at store-ca.segway.com.
The Segway E3 is the most lightweight and portable electric scooter in the brand’s third-generation lineup. It has been redesigned for a more compact folded footprint and weighs only 16.4 kilograms thanks to a new aerospace-grade magnesium frame optimized for both weight and durability. This makes it ideal for carrying it onto public transportation, up stairs, or on an elevator.
Equipped with an 800-Watt motor, it’s capable of a 25 km/hr. max speed and can go up to 45 kilometers on a single charge thanks to SegRange range optimization. It also has Apple Find My capability, SegRide stability enhancement, and traction control. There’s a 4-Watt headlight, turn signals, and 256 RGB ambient lighting for safety in low-light conditions. It has 10-inch self-sealing jelly tires and is IPX5 water-resistant.
Segway says the E3 is geared towards first-timers riders and those looking for a compact and affordable option.
