Sennheiser’s Smart Control app now works with the Apple Watch, allowing owners of compatible Sennheiser true wireless headphones to control music playback from the smartwatch.
The app, which is available now in the App Store, works with Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2, Momentum True Wireless, and CX 400BT true wireless headphones. Some features, depending on which headphones you own, include the ability to set noise control for active noise cancelling or transparent hearing using self- or manual adjusting.
This also means you can leave your phone at home while going for a run or in the locker at the gym and connect the headphones directly to the Apple Watch to listen to music that’s stored on the device. Sound settings can also be controlled from the smartwatch.
The app will also deliver a low-battery warning to remind you to recharge the headphones when the battery drops to below 20%. There’s also an equalizer present selection.
Once you download the recent update for the Smart Control app in the Apple App Store, the new features will be available.
