Snap One Unveils Networking, Power, and MoIP Products at CEDIA Expo 2023

Snap One has a CEDIA Expo booth jam-packed full of goodies, and among them is new networking, power, and MoIP solutions from brands like Araknis, Access Networks, Binary, and WattBox.

The Control & Networking Room located on the exterior of the booth (#1512) shows how the latest networking, video distribution, and power control products can enhance user experiences with faster speeds, greater reliability, and remote integrator access for troubleshooting.

“Utilizing the cutting-edge in networking, power management and other backend equipment supports great customer experiences, ensures maximum performance and capabilities, and helps enable future system growth,” says Brian Holden, Snap One Senior Director of Product Management, Networking & RMM. “Integrators of all specialities can benefit from the latest innovations and protocols integrated in our new lineups including Wi-Fi 6 and advanced remote system access.”

Araknis AN-220

Partners and their customers can enhance security and achieve higher networking distribution speeds with the new Araknis 620 and 920 Series switches that offer up to 10Gbps connections with Layer 3 functionality such as interVLAN routing, static IP routing and multicast routing, in addition to Layer 2 functions.

Access Networks A350

For wireless security and privacy, integrators can look to the Araknis 220 Series single-WAN 2.5Gbps VPN routers with an embedded firewall supporting Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), Denial of Service (DoS) prevention, and WAN Request Blocking. The upgraded Araknis 520 Series dual-WAN model, meanwhile, delivers the same speeds with greater capabilities and includes site-to-site, VLANs, QoS, and port forwarding, as well as support for IPSec. Plus, all these solutions provide full OvrC compatibility so integrators can enhance customer service and relationships by offering remote monitoring and system management.

To maximize non-VPN wireless network distribution and reliability, Snap One is also showcasing the Access Networks Unleashed Series of enterprise-grade WAPs. Unleashed access points support the latest Wi-Fi 6 protocol and offer advanced capabilities including BeamFlex and BeamFlex+ technologies that dynamically direct Wi-Fi signal to the most demanding devices, as well as SmartMesh technology that uses an integrated WLAN controller to navigate around and mitigate signal interference for projects with sparse ethernet connections.

Binary 960 MOIP

Moving beyond networking, booth visitors can also demo Snap One’s new Binary MoIP V3 960 Series, which makes it easy to deliver 4k60 video distribution and advanced audio routing capabilities. The 960 Series also enables MultiView and Fast Switching, improving flexibility, and ease of use for end users. OvrC compatibility makes setup a breeze and enables simple integrator monitoring and troubleshooting.

When every component counts, its vital to protect them and make sure they operate reliably, which is why Snap One is highlighting the WattBox IP Power line as well, a variety of rack and non-rack power solutions offering metering and control of individual outlets, advanced control system integration, and access to OvrC management.

Wattbox

The booth includes the WattBox 250 Series, a compact two-outlet Wi-Fi-connected unit with professional surge protection, and the WattBox 800 Series, which offers 6-, 8-, 12- and 18-outlet models in multiple form factors for installation in racks and in-wall boxes. Visitors can also see the new WattBox 800 Series Trigger Accessory that allows integrators to program a single button reboot sequence for a predefined set of outlets, enabling end users to immediately tackle common issues including router resets.

With the Access Networks brand fully represented in the Snap One booth this year, visitors will be able to learn more about the value and benefits of networking services from Access Networks, and get additional insight on partner projects and the efficiency that pre-configured and managed solutions provide, says Snap One. Access Networks has also expanded its custom Core Networks offering into more commercial markets such as houses of worship, hospitality, and MDUs to provide partners with more assistance in complex planning, network design, and configuration. Adding to these benefits even further is the recent news that all Access Networks branded solutions, including services, now earn three points per dollar spent in the Snap One Partner Rewards program.
