Square has launched its new integrated marketing tool in Canada, which is designed to help businesses connect with new and existing customers.
Using Square Marketing, businesses can create, send, and track e-mail marketing campaigns, promotions, discounts, and coupons, all in one place. The focus is to help small businesses expand customer reach and helps sellers gain key business insights with analytics. In the U.S., Square data revealed that in August 2021, 78% of coupons and discounts sent through Square Marketing were redeemed within one week, up from 50% in January.
Square Marketing, along with Square’s other customer capability tools like Loyalty, Gift Cards, and Directory, enables businesses to grow their customer base, drive repeat visits, and increase buyer spend. Businesses can schedule or immediately send e-mails to customers by leveraging Square Marketing’s automation capabilities, saving time and effort. There’s also real-time tracking for measuring campaign results using the Square Marketing Dashboard. This pertains to active campaigns, open and click-through rates, and attributable sales for both in person and online purchases.
