Erikson Consumer has announced that it has been appointed as a Canadian distributor for tech21 protective cases for mobile devices.
“We are very excited about the partnership between tech21 and Erikson Consumer,” says Wayne Mayall, Vice President, Erikson Consumer. “With tech21, we found attention to detail and scientific approach to mobile device protection that perfectly complements our growing portfolio. Today is an opportune moment for us to deliver the best phone and tablet protection to Canadians country-wide.”
“At tech21,” adds Colin Woodward, CEO, tech21, “we are continuously evolving and developing new solutions to upgrade mobile device protection. We are delighted to be working with Erikson Consumer as this aligns with our global growth initiatives.”
Launched in 2005, tech21 offers cases and screen shields for smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The company’s impact protection material is called FlexShock. It’s a thin and lightweight material that is said to absorb and dissipate force, able to withstand drops from as high as 13 feet.
All tech21 products go through a rigorous testing program, held with the help of the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) to develop the testing methodology.
Based in Baie D’Urfe, QC, Erikson Consumer is the consumer electronics division of Jam Industries.
