Tapo RV10 Lite

TP-Link Tapo Debuts RV10, R10 Lite Robot Vacuums

TP-Link Tapo has introduced two new vacuum models to its line, which are the most affordable in its line with pricing starting at US$230. The TP-Link Tapo RV10 robot vacuum and mop and RV10 Lite robot vacuum provide powerful suction, run quietly, and offer up to three hours of continuous cleaning per charge.

As the most affordable model in the line, the Tapo RV10 Lite has an 800mL extra-large dustbin that can hold up to two weeks’ worth of garbage. The Tapo RV10 robot vacuum and mop combo device, meanwhile, adds wet mopping capabilities. It comes equipped with a full-sized 300mL water tank and can cover floors up to 200 metres squared (2,100 square feet) in size on each charge. It has an electronic pump with three levels of water flow to suit different floor types, offering consistent and steady water pressure.

Both models include smart navigation thanks to the Gyroscope system that makes them move in an efficient zig-zag pattern. With 2,000Pa Max hyper suction, there are four suction modes as well: Quiet, Standard, Turbo, and Max. The latter is ideal, says TP-Link, for cleaning things like pet hair.

Both work with the Tapo app as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Customize cleaning schedules, switch cleaning modes, and monitor the status of the robot from anywhere using the app.

With a 2,600mAh battery, both models offer, as noted, up to three hours of continuous cleaning. Once done or ready to recharge, they return to their charging docks and restart, if needed, once powered back up again.

Thanks to triple noise suppression, sound can be decreased to as low as 53dB while in use. The dynamic balance fan, meanwhile, further reduces the ground noise of the motor and integrates an optimal duct design that simulations indicate can reduce wind noise.

The TP-Link Tapo RV10 Lite is available for an MSRP of US$230 and the Tapo RV10 for MSRP US$250.
