Traeger Reimagines the Timberline Grill

Traeger has introduced new versions of the Timberline and Timberline XL wood pellet grills.

The grills feature a new SmartCombustion system that uses a series of smart sensors and cooking environment data to avoid flare-ups and provide a consistent cook for perfect results, every time. Use the full colour touchscreen display to dial into your temperature and perform grill maintenance checks.

Traeger’s patented DownDraft Exhaust envelopes food in the wood fire while an improved Super Smoke Mode delivers more smokey flavor when activated thanks to a new FreeFlow firepot that produces maximum smoke output.

Full stainless-steel insulation delivers precision temperature regulation, no matter the weather. The new Timberline also features a redesigned heat delivery system thanks to radiant heat from full stainless-steel interior that results in hotter temperatures at the grates for perfect searing capabilities, says Traeger.

A proprietary Traeger technology, the EZ-Clean Grease & Ash Keg system channels grease and excess ash into one convenient, accessible unit for easy disposal.

Control the grill remotely using the Traeger app featuring WiFire technology. The new Timberline grill also features a more powerful 360 Wi-Fi antenna for easier connection. Additionally, the grill comes with two Traeger x Meater wireless meat thermometers for precise monitoring of food temperature from anywhere using WiFire technology via the Traeger app.

A first of its kind in North America, Traeger’s outdoor-rated induction cooktop provides fast and efficient heating for grilling versatility when sauteing onions, simmering sauces, searing steaking, or frying hot wings. The patented P.A.L. Pop-And-Lock rail system makes it easy to customize the Timberline with a new set of accessories aimed at improving the cooking experience.  ModiFIRE accessories allow customers to use a variety of cooking styles by easily swapping out the cooking surface of their grill.

“Traeger has spent 35 years innovating and perfecting what it means to cook incredible meals outdoors, and the new Timberline has everything you need to have the best possible cooking experience,” says Jeremy Andrus, CEO of Traeger Grills. “From perfectly consistent cooks to game-changing versatility and customization options, wrapped in an all-in-one convenient package, the all-new Timberline is everything you need to create those meaningful moments of connection with friends and family for years to come.”

The new Timberline grill features 865 square inches of cooking space and retails for $4,500 while the larger Timberline XL has 1,320 square inches of cooking space and is priced at $4,900 in Canada.
