uBreakiFix Opens New Store in Markham, Ontario

Electronics repair shop uBreakiFix, owned by Canadian company UBIF 786 Inc., has opened a new store in Markham, Ontario, about a half hour from downtown Toronto.

The store, located at 3985 Hwy 7, #103, offers repairs for smartphones as well as tablets, computers, and other mobile devices, like drones, hoverboards, and game consoles. The company says it can fix “anything with a power button.”

“We couldn’t be more eager to bring uBreakiFix to Markham,” says Joe Becerra, District Manager for uBreakiFix. “People everywhere need affordable, quality technology repair, especially in a time where technology is keeping us connected to life. Society is using technology to stay connected to family, friends, school, work, entertainment, and more.”

uBreakiFix currently has more than 600 locations across North America and has done 10 million repairs to date, including everything from shattered screens to software and camera issues, from a variety of brands. The company was founded in 2009 by millennial entrepreneurs Justin Wetherill and David Reiff, who partnered with Eddie Trujillo to transition their Internet-based repair brand to a brick-and-mortar model. uBreakiFix began franchising in 2013.
