Ultrahuman has announced a partnership with Les Mills, four-time Olympian and national head coach of New Zealand track and field, to bring recommendations and access for its studio-quality workouts to the company’s smart ring app as a subscription-based PowerPlug that works alongside its compatible smart rings.
With smart rings like the Ultrahuman Ring Air I reviewed and the newer Ultrahuman Ring Pro, PowerPlugs are like add-on apps within the app you can download to add to the tracking experience. Most are free, like circadian rhythm and caffeine window, while others are a nominal fee, like Afib detection and this new Les Mills addition, which is $12/mo. or $100/yr. The idea is to give each owner a personalized tracking and app experience.

When added, the Les Mills PowerPlug suggests workouts based on your personal recovery, sleep debt, and individual markers from Ultrahuman Ring. If your body is showing signs of fatigue, for example, recovery yoga will be recommended. If you’re good to sweat, BODYPUMP will be suggested. For women who track their cycle, workout intensity is also tailored to their exact phase for cycle-aware training.
Download the PowerPlug, choose a personal fitness goal (Strength, Cardio, Flexibility, or General Fitness), preferred training days per week, and session length. Every recommendation adapts automatically based on recovery, sleep, and cycle phase data from the ring. The integration also gives Ultrahuman Ring users access to Les Mills’ catalogue of video workouts, including HIIT, BODYPUMP, strength, yoga, stretching, and recovery sessions, led by expert instructors and available on demand.
Each day, the home screen shows two to three recommended Les Mills workouts matched to your current status, a Quick Workout shortcut, and access to the Les Mills catalogue to browse by programme, duration, or goal. The recommendation engine maps Ultrahuman’s Dynamic Recovery scores directly to workout intensity and type. The readings adjust dynamically to movement, non-sleep deep rest (including breathwork), and naps.

If you are well-recovered with elevated heart rate variability and low resting heart rate, you might see BODYPUMP or BODYCOMBAT at the top of your feed. Conversely, if you have accumulated sleep debt, elevated body temperature, increased resting heart rate, or low heart rate variability, you would be guided toward yoga, BODYBALANCE, or a gentle mobility session instead. During a woman’s menstrual phase, high-energy phases (follicular, ovulatory) unlock intense workouts like GRIT and BODYCOMBAT while luteal and menstrual phases automatically shift toward recovery-friendly content like BodyBalance and Yoga, with hard safety filters that remove high-impact or pelvic-floor-challenging workouts during menstruation.
Once you finish a workout session, the app will show workout stats, including calories, duration, and heart rate zones, recovery prediction post-workout to forecast estimated readiness for the following day, movement and muscle tracking, and progress towards real-time goal tracking. The result is a continuous feedback loop: workout choice informs recovery data, which shapes the next recommendation and becomes more accurate over time.
The Les Mills PowerPlug is available to Ultrahuman Ring Air and Pro users globally, costing US$12/mo. or US$100/yr.
