Vanco Releases TAA-Compliant Cable Line

AV distribution and electronic accessories product company Vanco International LLC has announced a new line of TAA-compliant cables, suitable for any federally funded project or sensitive application in the U.S. market.

Vanco’s new TAA-compliant cable line includes HDMI, USB Type A to Type C, and USB Type C to Type C cables in a variety of lengths. Like all Vanco AV cables, these cables are backed by a lifetime warranty so integrators can deploy them in mission-critical applications with confidence.

Vanco’s new TAA-compliant high-speed HDMI cables with Ethernet include the T255 “Performance Series” and the TPRHD “Pro Series.” The T255 Performance Series, available in one-, three-, or six-foot lengths, delivers HDMI 1.4 with 10.2Gbps high-speed data transfer. It supports video resolutions up to 4K, and features a 100 Mbps HDMI Ethernet channel, 3D compatibility, and ARC functionality.

The TPRHD Pro Series delivers HDMI 2.0 functionality with full 18Gbps bandwidth, enabling 4K resolution at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and HDR support. It also accommodates up to 32 audio channels with ARC, including advanced formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio, and is EMI-tested for minimal wireless interference. The Pro series is available in one-, three-, five-, 12-, 15-, or 20-foot lengths. Both series feature robust SecureFit connectors, pull-tested up to 7 lbs.

Vanco’s TAA-compliant USB cables can connect anything from legacy to gear to next-generation solutions. The TUS2AC USB-A to USB-C series supports USB 2.0. With 480 Mbps data throughput, these cables are five times faster than USB 1.1 connections. The TUS2CC USB-C to USB-C Cable Series meets USB 3.1 Gen 1 standards with power delivery, high speed device charging, and up to 5Gbps high speed data transfer.

For the most advanced devices, the TUS3CC USB-C to USB-C Cable Series supports USB 3.1 Gen 2, with up to 10Gbps high speed data transfer as well as high speed charging and power delivery. All Vanco USB cables are fully backwards compatible with earlier USB standards.

TAA-compliant products must be made or “substantially altered” in the United States or a designated trading partner nation. All federal and military projects, as well as state and local government or education projects receiving federal funds are required to use TAA-compliant products.

Vanco’s TAA-compliant USB and HDMI cables begin shipping on May 31, 2025.
