We Are Rewind has launched a new cassette player that will on every dad’s wish list this season. The WE-001 is a special edition collaboration between the tech brand and Wild Boys! Duran Duran that ships with an exclusive cassette re-issue of Pop Trash.
The design of the cassette player is made to capture the band’s iconic style and the era when their cassettes defined a generation. But it boasts 2025 technology with a headphone amplifier, rugged aluminum build, and modern features. With a Bluetooth connection, you can play back tapes through wireless headphones and speakers. You can also connect a powered mic and record or plug in a line source via 3.5mm jack and record other audio as well, or just listen through old wired buds or headphones.
The rechargeable battery lasts up to 12 hours and it recharges via USB-C. We Are Rewind even sells a dedicated belt clip for those who want to go full retro. Meanwhile, it comes with a pencil in the box because, you know, just in case you need to do a manual rewind!
