The Dyson PencilWash is the company’s latest wet and dry cleaner, designed for quick cleans and tackling spills.
With a handle that’s just 38mm in diameter for easy maneuvering as well as storage, the mop also weighs just 2.2 kg. It can lay flat to just 15cm to clean under low furniture and uses a combination of hydration, agitation, and extraction technologies to ensure only fresh water is used to clean your home. It steers naturally with a simple twist and doesn’t require a filter that can trap dirt, breed bacteria, and emit odours. This also reduces the risk of sludge and blockages that can lead to a drop in performance.
The high-density microfibre roller with 64,000 filaments spins rapidly to effectively tackles wet spills and stains as well as dry debris, with a quick-drying floor finish. Dirty water and debris are continuously extracted from the microfibre roller on every rotation. Combined with a precision-engineered eight-points hydration system that delivers a consistent supply of fresh water to the roller, the machine is always using fresh water to clean the floors, so it’s a completely hygienic clean.
With the ability to clean up to 100m2 of flooring with a single 300L water tank (360mL dirty water tank included as well) and has a 30-minute runtime and 3.5-hour charge time. There are two customizable hydration modes so you can adjust the water flow to suit different surfaces and cleaning needs. It works with the Dyson 02 Probiotic hard floor cleaning solution, which is sold separately and specially formulated to work alongside all Dyson wet and dry cleaners. It is a non-foaming, non-toxic formula that deep cleans at the microscopic level, effectively lifting dirt and grime while being gentle on floors and safe for pets and children.
The Dyson PencilWash will be available starting April 16, 2026 for $450 in Canada.
