Jackery 100D

Jackery Explorer 100D is an Adorable Power Station You Can Travel With

Jackery is known for its portable power stations, but portable usually means small enough to hold with one band and pop into the trunk or take to the beach. But for the first time, the company is making one that is small enough to take with you by tossing it in your purse backpack, even taking it on the plane. Called the Jackery 100D, it has a shoulder strap and handle, and its capacity remains within carry-on limits so you can bring it on the plane.

The Jackery 100D offers 96Wh, which is under the 100Wh maximum limit for lithium batteries on planes. This means you can safely bring it with you in your carry on (and should since devices with lithium batteries should never be placed in checked luggage). It offers a 30,000mAh capacity and up to 158W output for powering devices through its pair of USB-C ports, each capable of 140W output. There’s also an additional 18W output for lower-draw devices.

Jackery says it can power an iPhone 18 Pro to 50% in about 20 minutes, and a DJI Pocket 3 in just 10 minutes for a half charge. One charge of the 100D will give you three full phone recharges or a full charge of a high-powered MacBook Pro. The unit itself recharges to full in about two hours and offers support for 100W direct solar input. The 12V passenger vehicle charging delivers an 80% charge in just over three hours, less than two hours in an RV, commercial vehicle, or boat.

The unit, which measures just 4.6 x 3.4 x 3.4 inches, runs on a LiFePO4 battery. It 100weighs 1.87 lbs., about the same as a large travel umbrella or standard tablet. It’s rated to last for up to eight years of daily full charge-discharge cycles with a 3,000-cycle lifespan. The advanced battery chemistry and multi-layered system of electrical and thermal safeguards ensure stability and safety, says the company.
