Apple Event: Here’s What’s New with iPhone, Watch, & AirPods

Apple iPhone 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max

iPhone 17 Pro

The Apple iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max have all the same goodies as the iPhone 17 with some notable upgrades. They have three 48MP Fusion cameras: a main, ultra-wide, and a new telephoto with the longest optical-quality zoom ever on iPhone at 8x, along with an 18MP Center Stage front camera. There are video features for pro filmmakers and content creators, including ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2, and genlock. Both models feature the Ceramic Shield 2 front cover on the back of the phone as well. Each employs a new brushed aluminum unibody design crafted with a lightweight aerospace-grade 7000-series aluminum alloy to deliver improved thermal performance. The new internal architecture features an Apple-designed vapour chamber to enhance heat dissipation and performance. Both models can charge to 50% in 20 minutes with an optional high-wattage USB-C power adapter like Apple’s new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max. They have 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR displays, respectively, with ProMotion up to 120Hz, Always-On, and 3000 nits of peak outdoor brightness. These phones are eSIM only as well and come with all the great iOS 26 upgrades.

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities while the iPhone 17 Pro Max will, for the first time, be available with a 2TB option as well. Available in cosmic orange, deep blue, and silver, iPhone 17 Pro starts at $1,599 while the iPhone 17 Pro Max starts at $1,749. Both may come with three free months of Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, Apple Music, Apple News+, and Apple TV+ with a new subscription. Offer and services availability varies by region.
