CEDIA Expo is launching a networking app for its 2022 event, helping members of the residential technology integration, design, and construction industries connect with one another, including both peers and exhibitors.
Powered by the Grip artificial intelligence powered event networking solution, CEDIA Expo’s mobile app is designed to facilitate intelligent business matchmaking, product discovery, and relevant content. The idea is to engage attendees pre-show, onsite, and post-show.
“There has been a pent-up demand to return to live, face-to-face meetings where attendees can reconnect with exhibitors and peers, see the latest products first-hand, learn from industry experts, discuss business opportunities and network,” says Jason McGraw, CTS, Group Vice President for CEDIA Expo and KBIS, Emerald. “We recognize that our attendees are looking forward to making new connections and networking apart from gaining knowledge and experience. CEDIA Expo is invested in providing attendees with resources and tools to build peer-to-peer relationships during this year’s show.”
CEDIA Expo’s app features the latest floor plan, exhibitor list, and show schedule as well to help guide attendees at the event. Attendees can easily search for exhibitors and products by keywords and browse categories.
Based on self-described interests, the AI-powered app provides intelligent matches for attendees to connect with peers and exhibitors. The platform supports messaging and scheduling to enable registered attendees to request meeting times and on-site appointments with exhibitors.
CEDIA Expo’s app will also list CEDIA’s education sessions, Manufacturer Product Training (MPT) sessions, and show events through attendees’ personalized agendas linked to the show’s registration system.
Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, the CEDIA Expo app is available for registered attendees to explore, match, and meet on the go.
