Jabra is revealing the latest addition to the new Elite series of true wireless earbuds for active individuals at CES, the Jabra Elite 4 Active, which is built to work during rigorous activities, and in virtually any conditions.
The Jabra Elite 4 Active boast an IP57-rated water and sweatproof durability. Their athleisure design also guarantees a unique, secure fit, designed to stay in while you work out. At US$119, the earbuds are positioned as an affordable option for those who don’t want to fork over hundreds of dollars for a pair of wireless buds they can wear while working out.
They offer favourable battery life at up to seven hours per charge, 28 with the charging case. They also include fast charge capabilities.
Despite the low price, the Elite 4 Active include some advanced features, including built-in Alexa for voice control, built-in or Spotify Tap playback, and Google Fast Pair with compatible Android 6.0 or higher smartphones. The Spotify Tap playback, meanwhile, allows for faster access to music.
The Elite 4 Active blocks out noise at the gym or while out for a run or listening in a crowded space via Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). There’s also a customizable equalizer and HearThrough for added awareness when needed, such as running at night or in a busy street so you can remain safe.
Thanks to four-microphone technology, you can also comfortably make and receive calls and carry on conversations while on-the-go. The mics are protected by a special mesh covering, which also provides added wind noise protection, so you can be heard loud and clear on calls. The wing-free ergonomic design makes them comfortable to wear for long workouts, or any time you want personal listening. You can use both buds or just one in mono mode when desired.
Available in colour themes like navy, black, and light mint, you can choose the one that fits your personal style.
Calum MacDougall, Senior Vice President at Jabra, says the Elite 4 Active are designed as a “relatable alternative” for the person who has adopted an active lifestyle but isn’t looking for “the intensity of its more aspirational sister in this range, the Jabra Elite 7 Active.”
