CES 2025: First Keynotes Confirmed

CES 2025 will take place January 7-10, 2025 in Las Vegas, and as attendees gear up for the massive tech trade show, the first selection of keynotes have been announced. And they represent various facets of the tech industry.

Yuki Kusumi, Group CEO of Panasonic Holdings Corporation, will be an opening keynote speaker for CES 2025. Kusumi and Kinsey Fabrizio, CTA President.

“Well into the Future is our theme for CES 2025,” says Kusumi. “The Panasonic Group’s legacy of social contribution, informed by our seven founding principles, continues to drive our actions as we work to fulfill our founder’s vision of making today better than yesterday, tomorrow better than today.”  

The Panasonic Group, in collaboration with a growing selection of strategic partners who share its values and aspirations, will pursue the realization of this vision through its products, technologies, and services, as well as through its business activities. This includes the development of green energy technologies and circular economy practices to help address the urgency of the climate crisis. 

With a long and distinguished career in research and development (R&D) and company management, Kusumi is passionate about innovation, digital transformation, and combatting environmental issues for a better, brighter future for everyone.

During the keynote, the Panasonic Group will introduce new initiatives that focus on innovative technologies to enhance the sustainability of society, as well as the health, comfort and safety of families and individuals. 

“As a participant in the first CES in 1967 and each one since then, Panasonic has built decades of innovation that prioritize people,” adds Fabrizio. “With a keen eye for the future, we know that Mr. Kusumi will offer insights on how technology will affect many facets of our lives.” 

Kusumi speaks following the CTA State of the Industry Address at 8:30 a.m. PT on January 7, 2025, in the Palazzo Ballroom at the Venetian.

Also delivering a keynote address is NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jensen Huang as a keynote speaker at CES 2025,” comments Shapiro. “Jensen is a true visionary in the tech industry. His insights and innovations improve the world, enhance the economy, and will inspire our CES audience.”

Known for his forward-thinking approach and passion for technology, Huang has been named the world’s best CEO by Fortune and The Economist, as well as one of TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world.

Speaking at 2 p.m. PT on January 8 in the Palazzo Ballroom at the Venetian will be Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture.

Accenture is a long-standing CES exhibitor, showcasing how businesses can leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.

“Accenture continues to be a driving force in innovation, continuing a legacy in technology services with groundbreaking work in AI,” note Shapiro. “Under Julie’s leadership, Accenture became a leader in cloud and AI solutions and scaled sustainable business models for some of the world’s largest companies.” 

Sweet is a premier advisor to the world’s most influential business leaders, guiding them through the AI-powered reinvention of their enterprises. Her leadership and guidance touch virtually every sector and region, helping companies harness the potential of AI, data and emerging technologies.  

She has been recognized on TIME’s 100 Most Influential People, as one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business, and by Forbes as one of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. Sweet became CEO in September 2019 and assumed the additional position of chair in September 2021.  

During CES 2021, Sweet shared her predictions on the next decade of tech trends, and how tech can help companies and society bridge gaps and divides.

Earlier this Fall, Accenture and NVIDIA announced an expanded partnership, including Accenture’s formation of a new NVIDIA Business Group, to help the world’s enterprises rapidly scale their AI adoption.
