The Clicks Keyboard Case from Clicks Technology, which caused quite a stir at CES in Las Vegas when it was first announced a few years ago, initially launched for select iPhone models. Now, it will soon finally be available for select Android phones, too, including ones from Google, Motorola, and Samsung.
The case, which consists of a protective perimeter with an intelligent physical keyboard on the bottom, is designed to offer a tactile typing experience for those who miss the old days of BlackBerry, or love the novelty of it having never used one before. The advantage is also preserving the entire phone’s screen real estate when doing things like composing messages and e-mails, surfing websites, taking notes, and more.
Available for pre-order from US$49, the first three models to launch in the Android camp are for Google Pixel, Motorola Razr, and Samsung Galaxy phones.

With the Motorola Razr, you will be able to text, e-mail, chat, and game without having to flip open the phone since the keyboard works with the external display. Compatible with the Motorola Razr and Razr+ (2024), it comes in Electric (blue) and Onyx (black). You can reserve it up to March 21 for US$49 to pay a final cost of US$99 after which the price will increase to US$139. It will begin shipping in late May 2025.

For the Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9, the Clicks for Pixel adds tactile buttons so you can enjoy a full-screen experience. Along with a traditional QWERTY design, you get shortcut buttons as well. It also has a magnetic array built into the enclosure to support wireless charging. This version will come in Surge (high-vis yellow-green) and Onyx (black) for US$99 as an introductory price, after which they will sell for US$139, with availability at the end of April 2025.

The Clicks for Samsung Galaxy fits the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 model phone. Available in Pinot (red) and Onyx (black), it’s designed to assist with faster and more accurate typing. Since the addition of the physical keyboard eliminates the need for the on-screen virtual one, you’ll be able to use all 6.2 inches of the phone’s display. The keyboard also has a Gemini Key shortcut that can summon Samsung AI features of the phone. With shipping starting in June 2025, so you can pay US$49 to reserve one for a total price of US$99 through March 21, 2025 after which it will cost a total of US$139.
Additional features of the keyboards, also found in the iPhone variants, including a backlight for the keys so you can comfortably type in low light, access to the Clicks app for personalizing the experience, and connectivity through USB-C so you don’t have to worry about charging it or enabling a Bluetooth connection. It’s also easy to put on and take off so you can use it only when needed.

Clicks Technology says it has sold more than 100,000 keyboards in more than 100 countries. Orders for Clicks for Android will be exclusively through the company’s website at Clicks.tech.
