Cyber Monday is already well underway with plenty of sales on everything from home goods to apparel and, of course, tech. It’s tough to discern the good deals from the, to put it bluntly, “fake” ones – inflated prices that make you think you’re getting a great deal when you really aren’t. Scanning through the deals, however, I have noticed a few that are fantastic, including deals on items that (spoiler alert) will be appearing on my favourite tech of 2025 list, publishing next month. Here’s a list of items worth investing in.

PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller
$70 down from $95 (26% off)
Save a quarter off the official PlayStation DualSense controller, which comes in a variety of colours so you can get one distinctly for you or someone as a gift. It has a built-in mic and you can connect a pair of wired headphones via 3.5mm jack.

Asus Vivobook Go 15 Laptop
$190 down from $349 (46% off)
This is a great price for a laptop for a student or on the go use so you can leave your more expensive one at home when you travel. It’s not incredibly powerful with an Intel Celeron N4500 processor and 4GB RAM, and only has 128GB storage. But the inclusion of a year of Microsoft 365 sweetens the deal.
U.S. pricing for AMD Ryzen 3, 8GB RAM, 256GB model: $263 down from $380 (31% off)

LG Smart Monitor Swing
$1,000 down from $1,500 (33% off)
This clever monitor is mounted on a rollable stand, ideal for a second screen in the home office, for creative types, and for moving from room to room of the home. With webOS built in, you can watch streaming TV, access apps and games, and tap into productivity apps as well through Home Office Hub for Google Workspace.

Amazon 55-inch Fire TV
$400 down from $530 (25% off)
A solid option for a kid heading off to college or university and living in a dorm, to get your teen that TV they have been asking for in their bedroom, or for up at the cottage, this 55-incher boasts 4K quality, access to streaming apps, and Alexa voice control.

LG 77-inch C5 OLED evo 4K TV
$3,000 down from $3,500 (14% off)
LG makes some of the most stunning OLED TVs, and the C5 is a gorgeous display that is a perfect model to surprise the family in time for football, basketball, and hockey season, not to mention the final season of Stranger Things. This isn’t a massive discount, but it’s a solid price for a premium OLED TV of this size.

Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 Portable Power Station
$578 down from $1,299 (56% off)
Every home should have a portable power station in the event of a blackout, helping keep food fresh and devices powered up for emergency situations. These are great for road trips, RVs, even camping and the outdoors. The unit is often on sale for less than the MSRP, but this is among the lowest prices we’ve seen for it in Canada.

Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (2025)
$1,450 down from $1,699 (15% off)
Apple products rarely go on sale, so while this discount isn’t huge, if you’re in the market for a new MacBook Air, you likely won’t see sales any deeper than this for a new model any time soon.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus
$35 down from $70 (50% off)
Big sales periods are the best time to invest in streaming sticks, which also make great gifts. The half-price deal is worth getting, grabbing a few sticks as stocking stuffers for family and friends. My girlfriends and I will usually use one at a hotel to binge-watch shows today on our ladies spa or travel weekends.

JBL Go 4 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
$50 down from $70 (29% off)
I’ve reviews many JBL portable Bluetooth speakers throughout my career and you’d be hard-pressed to find a bad one among the bunch. If you cycle, hike, camp, or you’re looking for one for a student or teen, this tiny waterproof speaker is a good choice.

Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones
$248 down from $430 (42% off)
Look up any list of the best noise cancelling headphones you can buy and you’ll find these on them. At this price with this discount, they’re a steal.

Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 Portable Power Station
$999 down from $2,500 (60% off)
For families that like to go camping or on RV and road trip adventures, this portable power station is a must. It’s also useful to have at home in the event of a power outage, able to keep items like a mini fridge, washing machine, or lights going until the power comes back on. It’s a powerful unit from one of the trendier new brands with tons of outlets and a portable enough design to take with you as well.

Amazon Echo Show 11 Smart Display
$195 down from $220 (11% off)
The Amazon Echo Show 11 is one of the latest Echo devices that is compatible with the new Alexa+ assistant, a smarter, AI-powered assistant that can engage in more intelligent, contextual, natural conversations. Alexa+ is free if you have an Amazon Prime membership, so it’s worth upgrading to a unit like this one to leverage it. If you want something simpler, however, consider the Echo Dot, also on this list.

Amazon Echo Show 5 Smart Display
$70 down from $120 (42% off)
Not surprisingly, some of the best deals you’ll find on Cyber Monday are for Amazon’s own products. The Amazon Echo Show 5 is another new model that works with Alexa+ and the savings are even better than with the larger Echo Show 11. This one is perfect for the living room or kitchen as a communal smart display that can also do things like display YouTube videos, like cooking instructions, and live footage from a connected doorbell camera.

Philips Sonicare Diamondclean 9000 Rechargeable Toothbrush
$130 down from $250 (48% off)
I use one of these toothbrushes, and from the pressure to the convenient design and various modes, it far surpasses a traditional manual toothbrush.

Amazon Echo Dot Smart Speaker
$40 down from $70 (43% off)
The cheapest entry into the smart speaker space with Alexa+, the Amazon Echo Dot is perfect for a family just getting into the smart home, and a great gift for teens for their bedroom or grandparents.

De’Longhi Magnifica Evo Espresso Machine
$600 down from $1,000 (40% off)
I have this automatic espresso machine at home and it’s great for a fresh cup of java in the morning from fresh whole beans. The LatteCrema system is easy to use for cappuccinos and lattes, with easy one-touch buttons for the perfect blend. The only downside: it expels water every time you start it up and shut it down. This cleans the inside, but you need to keep a mug underneath or empty the bottom tray daily.

Apple Watch Series 10 Smartwatch
$439 down from $549 (20% off)
This smartwatch is almost identical to the new Apple Watch Series 11, and the deal slices enough off the price to make it worth your while, especially if upgrading from a Series 8 or earlier model and on a tight budget. Read my review for more details and my Apple Watch Series 11 review for a comparison.
U.S. pricing for Apple Watch Series 11: $369 down from $429 (14%)

Oura Ring 4 Smart Ring
$399 down from $530 (25% off)
One of my favourite smart rings, the Oura Ring 4 requires a subscription, but it’s a nominal fee for all the health and wellness tracking you get. Read my review for more details.

DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo
$749 down from $929 (19% off)
One of my favourite content creation tools that comes with me everywhere and I use for my video footage, this camera is incredibly easy to use and versatile. While the camera itself is on sale, the deal for the Creator Combo is the way to go. Read my review for more details.

JBL Charge 6 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
$180 down from $250 (28%)
This portable Bluetooth speaker is a great deal at its regular price, so for this discounted rate, it’s one you’ll want to pick up, stat. You get fantastic sound in a versatile design for the home and on the go. Read my review for more details.

Google Pixel 10 Pro Smartphone
$1,100 down from $1,350 (19% off)
One of the latest in the Google Pixel line, the Google Pixel 10 Pro is a fantastic phone loaded with AI features that help you take better pictures and provides everyday assistance through Gemini. From the cameras to the design, battery life, and price, it’s one of the best values in the Android space. Read my review for more details.

Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 Digital Air Fry Oven
$130 down from $260 (50%)
Everyone has or wants an air fryer these days, and Ninja is one of the best brands in the business. A great replacement for a microwave, this powerful model can fit dinner for the entire family and functions as a toaster oven, too. For half price, it’s an incredible deal.

Ring Battery Doorbell
$70 down from $140 (50% off)
Half price for the Ring Battery Doorbell is a steal. I rely on this doorbell at home for capturing footage of everything from the goings-on at night to package deliveries and when my son gets home from school. With two-way talk, you can even let someone know to leave the package at the door and that you’re not interested in what they’re selling. Get the most out of it with a subscription once you have it set up.

Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 Mini Open-Ear Bone Conduction Sport Headphones
$175 down from $250 (30% off)
A good friend of mine is an avid runner and he swears by these headphones. They are ideal for those who don’t like in-ears but want something comfortable that will stay put during rigorous activity.
