D&H Canada to Distribute Check Point Cyber Security; Extreme Networks

D&H Canada has added two new lines to its business offerings for SMB and mid-market clients: Check Point’s cyber security solutions and Extreme networks networking products.

Check Point Software Technologies offers cyber security solutions globally. D&H Canada will carry Check Point’s full suites including Quantum, CloudGuard, Harmony, and Horizon solutions, expanding the roster of partners in its modern security portfolio. Building on its relationships within the MSP and MSSP communities, D&H Canada aims to bolster Check Point’s market presence, ensuring that the SMB and mid-market segments benefit from the company’s security technology.

Check Point Quantum Spark1500 Pro Next Generation Firewalls stand out with protection and high-performance features, including flexible connectivity options, rapid deployment, automated threat management, and compatibility with 5G cellular, Wi-Fi 6, and SD-WAN environments.

“D&H is thrilled to welcome Check Point into the fold of its modern security offerings, representing a key area of our growing Modern Solutions Business Unit,” says Jason Bystrak, D&H’s Senior Vice President of Modern Solutions. “Hybrid workplace environments continue to become more complex, encompassing distributed workspaces, edge computing devices, and remote networking environments. Consequently, securing this wide range of variable environments has become more nuanced, requiring a layered approach and the application of powerful cybersecurity solutions.

“Advancing technologies such as natural language generators like ChatGPT make it easier for nefarious actors to create effective malware,” adds Ryan Flynn, Director of Modern Applications and Security at D&H. “This makes it much more crucial to offer top-flight solutions like Check Point’s to address an array of evolving threats. We’re proud to offer their solutions to the channel partner community under the Modern Security umbrella.”

Nisha Holt, Head of Americas Channel Sales at Check Point Software Technologies adds: “Our SMB products boast a 99.7% catch rate against sophisticated Gen 5 cyberattacks. In partnership with D&H, we aim to deliver unparalleled security solutions to MSPs and resellers, fortifying the SMB landscape against mounting cyber threats.”

Additionally, D&H Canada has added Extreme Networks cloud networking solutions to its line. D&H will offer this vendor’s full catalog of networking solutions for MSPs, including switches and high-density universal access points that leverage Wi-Fi 6E solutions with an emphasis on SD-WAN environments.

Extreme differentiates itself in the market by making the network a strategic asset and creating simplicity and flexibility with its One Network One Cloud approach, says D&H. That is why mid- to large-size enterprises across verticals like education, healthcare, manufacturing, state, local, and federal government, retail and sports, and entertainment choose to work with Extreme.

D&H Canada will deliver programs and resources to help introduce its MSP customer base to this provider’s offerings, including upcoming trainings. Extreme Networks will be assimilated into D&H’s modern infrastructure portfolio, part of its growing Modern Solutions offering, which helps partners deliver cohesive, transformative networking solutions to the marketplace.

Extreme’s solutions are competitively priced and offer simple, one-day authorization, representing value for D&H Canada’s channel partners looking to escalate their businesses. The products scale from SMB all the way to large enterprise, to meet the demands of MSPs of all levels. Extreme’s wireless access solutions are particularly well suited for education deployments, says D&H, a market where D&H has a strong foothold. Extreme Networks will participate in D&H Canada’s upcoming Montreal THREAD Technology Conference on November 8, 2023.

“D&H will help Extreme Networks reach customers that have been underserved by competing distribution programs, providing more hands-on support and dedicated resources to grow their practices, while augmenting market share for this vendor,” says Bystrak. “As D&H’s partner base continues to move upstream toward larger mid-market targets in challenging verticals, they need robust, scalable solutions that can help them capture these more lucrative projects. They often involve SD-WAN environments or encompass multi-building campuses, multi-floor facilities, or a combination of indoor and outdoor settings that Extreme Networks’ access points are purpose-built to equip.”

Extreme’s solutions deliver reliable Wi-Fi connectivity in demanding environments that incorporate multiple operating systems, for both public and private clouds in addition to on-premises installations.

“Customers need easy-to-use, intelligent network solutions that will lay a foundation for all the technology they will use in the future, as the network really is the central nervous system of an organization,” concludes Jonas Brown, Senior Director, Worldwide Distribution Sales and Strategy, Extreme Networks. “And with so many customers looking to partner with MSPs, it’s critical for Extreme to expand our ability to work with MSPs and arm them for success. By working with D&H, we can help more MSPs access our end-to-end network solutions, strengthening their ability to compete in higher-tier sectors.”
