Focal Naim North America is adding AVIDHIFI high-end turntables to its North America distribution network.
Made in England, AVIDHIFI offers five new turntable bundles, which include the turntable, tonearm, and cartridge.

The first new model is the Ingenium Plug and Play, an entry-level turntable that comes with the TA-1 tonearm and CA-1 cartridge, pre-mounted and pre-adjusted. Available in black, it will sell for $2,599 in Canada for the plug-and-play model and $3,509 for the Plug and Play model in black with a metal platter.
The Diva II SP with an Altus tonearm and Ionic cartridge in black will sell for $12,999. It comes with a heavy aluminum platter. Vibration absorbing properties of the screw-down clamp and sapphire bearing work with the chassis to reduce background noise. The twin belt drive controls platter stability, coupled with the digital signal processing engine ironing out variations in the electrical supply, precision control of the speed is achieved, improving bass and treble definition for a smooth, dynamic sound, says AVIDHIFI.
The Volvere ($16,899) is the latest generation of this model that has been around for two decades. It incorporates the latest external DSP signal-generating power supply, which removes the vagaries of the mains signal. This allows the precise calibration of motor speed. The Volvere comes with the Altus tonearm and Ionic cartridge in black or silver.
Available with an Altus tonearm and Ionic cartridge in black for $15,999 and with a Nexus tonearm and Boron cartridge in black for $28,599, the Sequel offers crisp clarity, solidity, and precise sound.
Finally, there’s the Acutus Classic ($44,199) remains in the line for more than two decades. This is the model that launched the company, and it remains the gold standard. It comes with the Nexus tonearm and Reference Ruby cartridge.
