At IFA 2026, beyerdynamic introduced the AVENTHO Y, a wireless over-ear headphone with active noise cancellation. The headphone combines beyerdynamic sound, comfort and durability with more than 90 hours of battery life and four color options.

“The AVENTHO Y was developed around a simple idea: people use audio every day to focus, recharge, connect and express themselves,” said Andreas Rapp, CEO at beyerdynamic. “We wanted to create a headphone that delivers beyerdynamic performance while giving listeners control over both sound and style.”
The AVENTHO Y is available in four colorways, each with the same sound, features and performance. Liquid Black — black finish, Blue Fusion — blue finish, Soft Jade — jade finish, Peach Blush — peach finish
Optional accessories include black or grey velour ear pads and an upgrade bundle with a low-latency USB-C dongle and detachable boom microphone, allowing listeners to configure the headphone for different uses.

The AVENTHO Y has a foldable ergonomic design, user-replaceable battery, magnetic ear pads, aluminum sliders and stainless-steel hinges. High-wear components can be replaced, and an integrated storage compartment inside the earcup holds the optional USB-C dongle and spare battery.
Bluetooth 6.0 multipoint connectivity allows switching between a laptop, smartphone and tablet. Battery life is more than 90 hours with ANC off, or up to 60 hours with ANC on. Five minutes of fast charging provides up to six hours of playback.

Through the beyerdynamic app, listeners can customize EQ profiles, use genre-based sound presets, receive firmware updates and manage settings such as auto power-off. Each pair includes a USB-C charging/audio cable, a soft carrying bag, Quick Start Guide and a Compliance Booklet.
The AVENTHO Y will be available for $149.99 at beyerdynamic.com and Amazon. Visitors to IFA 2026 can experience the AVENTHO Y firsthand at the beyerdynamic booth, located in Hall 4.2, booth #147.
