For Apple Podcasts, iOS 17.4 now offers transcripts in English, French, Spanish, and German. This includes full text of the episode that can be read in full. You can also search for a specific word or phrase and select to play from a specific point. This is part of Apple’s accessibility features.

Additionally, the iOS 17.4 includes music recognition, so you can add songs you have identified to your Apple Music Playlists and Library, as well as Apple Music Classical. Siri has a new option to announce messages you receive in any supported language. There’s also new information under Battery Health in Settings, which shows battery cycle count, manufacture date, and first use on iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models.
