Jabra has introduced the Jabra Reach, a BYOD extension solution that lets users connect a laptop to a meeting room’s display, camera, microphones and speakers through one USB-C cable. The company also announced firmware updatesfor the Jabra PanaCast portfolio, adding room-use insights, display customization and device-management options.
Jabra Reach is designed for organizations that use employee laptops in meeting rooms and want fewer cables, adapters and configuration differences between rooms. It uses HDBaseT technology to extend the connection up to 100 meters (328 feet) and can provide up to 100W USB-C power delivery.
The system supports room video, audio, USB and optional power through a single connection. It includes mounting options for table and display installations, concealed ports and secured cables, and can be managed through Jabra Plus Management for supported Jabra video deployments.
The firmware updates add People Count, Custom Wallpaper, Web UI over USB and CLI functionality to supported Jabra PanaCast devices. Jabra says these features are intended to support room-utilization reporting, branded display content, browser-based configuration and larger device deployments.
Jabra Reach will be available from October 5, 2026, with an MSRP of $899. The PanaCast firmware updates will be introduced across the portfolio through the end of 2026.
