Kanto Debuts New Mounting Solutions

Kanto announced several new mounting solutions at CEDIA Expo 2024, which took place in Denver last month. And now, many of them are officially available through Canadian distributor Gemsen.

Kanto CM600BTB

The CM600BTB is a back-to-back ceiling TV mount that can accommodate dual screens from 40 inches up to 80 inches in size. Available for a UMAP of $350, it’s ideal for retail and other commercial set-ups. The pivoting mounting plate allows for mounting onto a flat, angled, or vertical surface. There’s a telescoping extension pole with 23 inches of height adjustment and 360° rotation, along with adjustable leveling screens and four tilt options with up to 15° forward and 6° backwards. Cable management along the length of the pole affords a clean and organized installation.

Kanto F6080

The F6080 fixed low-profile TV wall mount ($200) accommodates TVs from 55 inches up to 120 inches and supports up to 200 lbs. There’s a small gap of 1.1 inches between the wall and the back of the TV with this flush mount, affording a low profile. There are horizontal leveling screens and an extra-wide wall plate. Thanks to the quick-release TV brackets, servicing TVs is simple as well, music to installers’ ears.

Kanto PMX800

Available for $400, the PMX800 pro series full motion TV wall mount with adjustable offset is for TVs from 55-120 inches in size. The adjustable offset is 11 inches in either direction while the oversized 900×600 VESA interface allows for better compatibility with extra-large touch screens. There’s 31.3 inches of extension, providing swivel capabilities, and the TV sits 2.6 inches from the wall when fully retracted. All-metal cable management and lag bolt covers are included along with toolless tilt rounds for on-the-fly adjustments.

Kanto R400

Designed for pros with a no-gap installation, the R400 ($280) is a pro-series recessed in-wall full motion articulating TV mount for TVs 35-65 inches in size. Sitting flush against the wall, it’s ideal for the thinnest TVs, like OLEDs, which look like they’re floating once mounted. There’s a recessed box that sits between studs where you can store streaming boxes and other small electronic accessories, keeping them out of sight. With metal knockouts, you can easily run a power outlet into the box and rubber grommets can be used for all other cabling. It comes with durable metal cable management clips on the articulating arms to hideaway messy cables once the TV is pulled out from its 18 inches of extension.

Kanto R600 Pro Series

With an oversized in-wall box and accessory plate for cable set-top boxes and TV breakout boxes, the R600 pro series recessed in-wall full motion articulating TV mount ($480) is suitable for TVs from 65 up to 90 inches in size. There are a pair of TV mounting interfaces, one with a no-gap profile for TVs with small VESA patterns and one with support for extra-large TVs. Run power into the box with the metal knockouts and rubber grommets handle cabling. You also get durable metal cable management clips and zip tie mounting points. The foldable construction box can be leveraged by contractors who need to run cables and install drywall, so the mount stays safe and free of scuffs and scratches until you’re ready for it.

Kanto T6090

If you’re looking for a tilting wall mount, the T6090 ($240) is for TVs 55 inches up to a massive 120 inches. With 1,100 x 600 VESA support, it has 15° of tilt for adjusting the angle and you can lock the tilt angle in 5° increments. There’s an extra-wide wall plate and quick release TV brackets, all with the 2-inch profile.

Kanto TE300SG

For accommodating an outdoor TV, consider the TE300SG extendable tilting outdoor weatherproof locking TV wall mount ($230), which can be used with TVs from 45-100 inches in size. It comes equipped with a latching system for locking the TV in place, particularly important during inclement weather, like high winds. A pull-on release cord can be used to extend the TV up to six inches so you can access the rear for easy cable management. There are Security Torx TV screws and a galvanized coating to protect it against rust.

Kanto TTS140

What about tabletop TVs? The TTS140 ($270) is a height adjustable and swiveling tabletop TV stand for TVs 40-90 inches and up to 125 lbs. and boasts a single column design with 24 inches of height adjustment along with 32° of swivel left or right. The screen can also tilt up to 10° forward and 5° backward while mounted on the stand.
