Kanto, the Vancouver-based manufacturer of TV mounts, audio speakers and accessories has announced the introduction of the TTS150 Tabletop TV Stand, a premium-quality stand that is adjustable to accommodate extra-large TVs from 42 to 86 inches and weighing up to 125 lbs.
“Our new TTS150 is designed to support the largest TVs available today, which makes it perfect for home theater use, as well as professional, business and commercial applications where an ultra-stable and adjustable TV stand is required,” said Jason Zavarella, Kanto product manager. “It’s far more stable and offers greater mounting flexibility than the stock TV legs included with consumer TVs.”
The Kanto TTS150 offers a number of step-up features compared to other TV stands. Its single center column allows for 12.7 to 35.6 inches of height adjustment from the base to the center of TV. The stand offers up to 32 degrees of swivel capability left or right, as well as from +10 to -5 degrees of tilt angle, and provision for leveling. The TTS150 is easy to install, with all mounting hardware included, and accommodates VESA sizes from 200 x 200 to 600 x 400. Featuring steel and aluminum construction and a durable powder-coated finish, the TTS150 provides an easy solution where adding a traditional wall mount is a challenge such as a brick wall or glass, or where a property is rented and drilling holes into walls is not allowed. Also by raising the TV, the mount allows for additional audio components or decor to be incorporated on the TV credenza that would not be possible when the TV sits on their supplied legs.
A supplied security tether allows the stand to be secured to a wall stud. The TTS150’s center column provides neat, professional cable management, and the stand’s rubber feet add stability.
The Kanto TTS150 Tabletop TV Stand is currently available at a suggested retail price of $299.99. The stand carries a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
