Samsung is adding the Galaxy Watch FE to its smartwatch line-up, a more affordable version of the Galaxy Watch that offers access to Samsung’s advanced health monitoring and insights with a stylish design.
Ideal for those just starting out in the smartwatch space, the Galaxy Watch FE comes in a 40mm size and in black, pink gold, or silver with new watch bands that have blue and orange stitching. Galaxy Watch FE also offers new watch faces for customizing the watch and the one-click band makes it easy to switch the band. With Sapphire Crystal glass, the watch is durable, protected against scratches during day-to-day use.
Equipped with Samsung’s advanced BioActive Sensor, Galaxy Watch FE offers a variety of advanced sleep features, including monitoring sleep patterns, sleep coaching, and helping to create a sleep-friendly environment. There are also heart health monitoring features, including blood pressure monitoring and ECG.
Track more than 100 different workouts and progress right from your wrist. For runners, advanced running analysis helps you analyze overall performance to maximize efficiency and provides insights and guidance to help prevent injuries and meet goals. For an optimal running experience, Personalized Heart Rate Zone helps you set goals based on physical capabilities.
Body Composition provides detailed body and fitness data as indicators to track progress. In addition, you can receive motivational messages throughout your wellness journey to keep improving.
As with every Galaxy Watch series, the FE offers seamless connected experiences between Samsung Galaxy devices. You can quickly and easily locate your phone when disconnected from the Watch with Find My Phone. Remotely control your connected Samsung smartphone camera with Camera Controller to switch mode, change angle, or zoom right from the wrist. Galaxy Watch FE supports Samsung Wallet, meaning you can pay for purchases as well as access identification cards such as driver’s license or student ID on the smartwatch.
Galaxy Watch FE will be available in Canada on June 26, 2024. It will sell in the U.S. for US$199 but Canadian pricing is TBA.
