Just Add Power’s new transmitter and receiver MaxColor 4K60 series provides integrators with an affordable and scalable 4K UHD distribution platform to natively support today’s 4K source content with high frame rates over existing network infrastructures.
With the native support for 4K60 from source to screen, MaxColor end users may now play UHD video from a growing number of 4K sources and devices. With MaxColor 4K60, 12-bit color video and 4:4:4 chroma can be sent over existing Cat5/Cat6 cable installations, letting integrators save money on fiber.
The series provides fast and seamless switching, 4K up-and-downscaling, and EDID management while supporting all lossless audio formats and HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, for the finest viewing experience. Image popping, push, and pull; 90-degree image rotation for landscape and portrait modes; as well as integrated endpoint control are additional features.
“We are thrilled to bring native support for high frame rate source content to the Just Add Power platform and judging by the buzz the MaxColor 4K60 generated in our booth at InfoComm, our customers are eager to get their hands on the transmitter and receiver,” said Taft Stricklin, Sales Team Manager at Just Add Power.
