TCL has added two new smartphones to its line-up of devices in Canada: the TCL 20 Pro 5G and TCL 20S, both 20 Series devices, offer high-resolution displays, a full suite of camera features, good battery life, ample storage, and more, and come in at affordable price points.
The highlight of the devices, says TCL, is the NXTVISION proprietary display optimization technology, which the company says provides sharper details, greater contrast, and an overall better visual experience. It also adds eye protection, helping to filter blue light and, in turn, reduce eye strain.
Both the TCL 20 Pro 5G and the TCL 20S support HDR10 playback for streaming. Super Bluetooth capabilities allow connection of up to four wireless audio devices simultaneously.
The large battery capacity offers over a full day of power. The TCL 20 Pro 5G also includes 256GB internal storage and microSD capacity of up to 1TB.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a curved 6.67-inch AMOLED display, improved AI visual enhancement that recognizes on-screen content and scenes and automatically adjusts the colour, contrast, and sharpness, quad rear camera array and ultra-wide, macro, and depth lenses. The front camera is 32MP and HDR-enabled while the Backlight Selfie mode allows you to take photos when the sun is behind you and you are in the shade. It also features Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for smooth, crisp images, even in low light.
As the first phone to come with TÜV Rheinland-certified Circular Polarization Display technology, you can see the display in natural colours, even when wearing sunglasses. It has a large HD+ screen, high definition 64MP quad camera, Backlight Selfie cam, and Super Night mode. The back panel features more than a million prismatic crystal pits to create a dazzling, light-reflective surface inspired by the Milky Way Black. It’s also resistant to fingerprints and scratches.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G will come in Moondust Gray and the TCL 20S in Milky Way Black. Both phones will be available at Bell, Fido, Koodo, Rogers, SaskTel, Telus, Videotron, and Virgin Mobile. Pricing will vary by carrier.
