Telus has announced that the carrier now supports online and in-store eSIM Carrier Activation for iPhone.
eSIM activation is available to Telus and Koodo customers with a compatible iPhone that runs on iOS 17.2 or later. It’s simple now to set up or activate a new line via eSIM directly from the iPhone.
To use this feature, visit the Telus or Koodo website or visit a Telus or Koodo retail location and purchase a new iPhone. At checkout, select eSIM. The virtual SIM card will be sent to the new iPhone during the initial set-up period. This means you no longer require a physical voucher to get started.
Alternatively, you can also bring your own compatible iPhone to a Telus or Koodo store or visit the respective website and activate a new line via eSIM by entering the EID of your device.
