Waze has added Audible to its Audio Player Program, allowing drivers to access audiobooks, podcasts, and other audio programming from the app while also getting navigation directions to their destination.
With an Audible subscription, members can access a catalogue of more than 550,000 programs. To listen via Waze, just open the Waze app and tap the music note icon to select Audible as the audio player. Then, start enjoying audio content directly through Waze while also receiving Waze turn-by-turn directions from within the Audible app.
“We are very excited to kick off 2021 by welcoming Audible into the Audio Player family,” says Adam Fried, Head of Global Partnerships at Waze, who notes that Waze subscribers have driven more than 100 billion kilometers to date while listening to streaming content through its audio player. “We can’t wait,” he adds, “to bring this experience to even more users thanks to our collaboration with Audible.”
Audible is the latest streaming service to integrate its audio experience into Waze by using the Waze Audio Kit. To integrate your audio app with Waze, apply for the Waze Audio Kit.
