Lego Ideas Vending Machine

Lego Ideas Minifigure Vending Machine is a Retro-Inspired Collectible

Lego Group has introduced the new Lego Ideas Minifigure Vending Machine set, a retro-inspired collectible designed for adult fans. As the name implies, it’s a tiny replica of a vending machine with minifigure builds inside, great for parties or personal fun.

Lego Ideas is a platform where fans can submit their own model concepts to be voted on by the Lego community. Once a design reaches 10,000 votes, it’s reviewed by the Lego Group’s designers and considered for production. The Lego Ideas Minifigure Vending Machine set was originally created by Belgium-based fan designer Rob Vangansewinkel, who drew inspiration from his childhood vending machine. He spent months perfecting the dispensing mechanism using real Lego bricks.

With over 1,300 pieces, the set invites builders to recreate a fully functional vending machine, complete with a rotating knob, Lego coin, and 16 colourful capsules. Each capsule contains bricks to build a surprise minifigure inspired by classic Lego themes like Castle, Paradisa, Fabuland, and Classic Space. The set also includes a buildable minifigure of the fan designer himself.

Made for fans aged 18 and over, the model measures 11 inches tall by 6.7 inches wide and 8.3 inches deep, ideal for displaying on a shelf or bookcase. It features rounded glass styling to look like vending machines from yesteryear.
