Vancouver-based Kanto Living Inc. (“Kanto”) has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Lippert Components, Inc. to acquire certain assets associated with the Furrion outdoor TV product line, including outdoor televisions, related audio products, mounts, covers, customer relationships, inventory, and tooling.

The transaction expands Kanto’s presence in the outdoor entertainment category and allows for continued support of existing Furrion outdoor TV customers and products.
“We see a strong opportunity in the outdoor TV and audio category and believe the Furrion product lineup complements Kanto’s existing strengths in consumer electronics,” said David Reid, CEO of Kanto Living. “Our focus will be on ensuring continuity for customers while continuing to support and grow the product line over time.”

Kanto expects a smooth transition process with no immediate disruption to product availability or customer support.Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Gemsen is the Canadian distributor for both Furrion and Kanto
