Starting today, Live TV on PS5 is available to players in Canada, offering a free ad-supported experience from Sony Pictures Television. The service launched in the U.S. at the end of August 2026.
Players can discover close to 100 channels, with more channels expected to roll out over the coming weeks. There’s also a growing selection of on-demand entertainment including news, sports, movies, TV shows, anime, and more, all from the Media section of the PS5 console. At launch, Live TV on PS5 will feature a broad mix of programming across movies, TV, anime, sports, news, and more. This includes content from Amazon MGM Studios, Crunchyroll, NFL Channel, NHL Channel, UFC, and more.
You’ll get free movies across action, horror, sci-fi and more, with channels including Cinevault, FilmRise Free Movies by Radial Entertainment, MovieSphere by Lionsgate, and Sony One Action Hits. Fan-favourite TV shows include Community, Banijay Rights’ Deal or No Deal and Fear Factor, Forensic Files, Hell’s Kitchen, The Shield, The Walking Dead, and Unsolved Mysteries, plus Dog the Bounty Hunter from A+E.
Anime favourites include Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, and exclusive channels Black Clover and Box Sets from Crunchyroll are also available. Additionally, you’ll find sports programming from NASCAR, NFL Channel, NHL Channel, PGA Tour and UFC, and more spanning MMA, football, hockey, motorsports, golf, boxing, and soccer.
National and international coverage brings viewers the latest developments and top stories. Creator and specialty programming featuring Hot Ones, Idle Mode, and Spotify’s The Ringer.
Additional programming includes gaming and esports, creator-led entertainment, documentaries, podcasts, and more, including eCLUTCH Americas (exclusive).
Players can access Live TV on PS5 from the console’s home screen. Go to the Media tab and select the Live TV on PS5 icon. Select “Sign In With My PlayStation Account” to connect your PlayStation account and start watching.
Live TV on PS5 will continue to evolve with regularly refreshed programming, new channels, and additional content over time.
