ESR, which makes a variety of MagSafe accessories, has launched a new Qi2 wireless charger for the car. The product was unveiled at CES 2024 earlier this month, and it will be the first of other Qi2 wireless chargers the company plans to launch this year.
According to ESR, the Qi2 chargers are reliable and fast, but also almost half the price of MagSafe chargers. It offers 15W fast charging while you’re on the go in the car. Designed for iPhone 13 series and later devices, currently the only smartphones that support Qi2 charging, it has strong magnets that can hold 2,600g. It comes with a three-point vent mount with support arm that ESR says ensures a steady view and navigation, even when you’re traveling on bumpy roads.
Along with the vent, there’s also a dashboard anchor mount option. The adjustable ball joint and full ring of magnets enable precise angle adjustment in portrait or landscape mode for comfortable viewing at any angle.
ESR’s new charger is available on Amazon for US$36. ESR plans to launch a full collection of Qi2 charging solutions later this year, including a Qi2 3-in-1 charging stand, Qi2 3-in-1 travel charger, Qi2 power bank, and Qi2 watch charging set.
