Boundless Devices Inc. (BDI), a global product development, sales, and distribution company, has launched the new Motorola MQ20 Wi-Fi 6E mesh router, which offers 6GHz coverage for homes.
The Motorola MQ20Mesh Wi-Fi 6E home and SMB router is powered by the new MotoSync+ application on both iOS and Android. It delivers advanced features and cybersecurity, including tri-band Wi-Fi with 8.4 Gbps speeds and up to 3,000 square feet of coverage.

Powered by Qualcomm’s IPQ8072A chipset, the MQ20 offers eight internal antennas, triband technology, and 4×4 Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) for reliable coverage and performance. As a triband device, it offers three bands (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz) for maximized performance and reduced latency. A 2 GHz quad-core processor ensures seamless multitasking and handling up to 128 devices per unit.
Wi-Fi speeds of up to 8.4Gbps are supported, with a single unit providing coverage of up to 3,000 square feet in the home or office.
Through its 2.5Gbps Wide Area Network (WAN) port to connect to your modem, the MQ20 maintains high levels of performance and speed throughout your home, ensuring fewer dead zones and uninterrupted streaming and browsing, says Motorola. Connect more than 128 devices to each network over Wi-Fi or using the three 1Gbps Local Area Network (LAN) ports on the device.

MotoSync+ is the new application, available for both iOS and Android devices, that manages the Motorola Q20 and will be an integral part of future products. It provides advanced cybersecurity and parental controls to keep your network and those on it protected.
On the security end, MotoSync+ does things like block ads, adware, malware, spyware, and ransomware; actively monitors network weaknesses that hackers can exploit; leverages AI technology to detect any infected devices on your network; and provides real-time updates to ensure you are protected against new threats.
For parental control, it allows you to set policies and rules for each device, person in the household, or groups of people; filter and allow content based on app or website; manage screen time and requests by limiting daily usage of devices, apps, games, and websites; limit access to specific apps/sites during homework time, bedtime, or set your own internet breaks; and view web browsing history even when deleted from the device.

The MotoSync+ premium features are available for a monthly fee of US$10 or $90 per year with an annual subscription. But those who purchase the MQ20 right now or the MG8702 Gateway receive MotoSync+ free for the first year.
The Motorola MQ20 is available in white or black for an MSRP of US$330 for a single unit or US$630 for a two pack. Canadian pricing and availability date has not yet been confirmed, but the MQ20 will arrive north of the border.
We’re excited to bring the Q20 and other networking products to Canada by the fourth quarter,” confirms Dariush Zand of Boundless Devices. “At present time, we have not released commercial pricing as we continue to work with our channel partners in the run up to launch.”
