Samsung has added a new smartphone to its line, the Galaxy A53 5G which, coming in at under $600 unlocked, firmly places it in the “affordable” mid-range category.
The A53 5G has premium features like AI camera experiences, defense-grade security, two-day battery life, and, as the name implies, 5G network access. Stylish and slim with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, the phone is powered by the new 5nm processor.
The AI-powered quad-camera system features a 64MP IOS camera with VDIS technology along with a 32MP front camera. You can capture favourable images, even in low light. A improved night mode automatically synthesizes up to 12 images at once so night photos look bright with less noise. When shooting video in low-light environments, the Galaxy A53 5G’s frame rate automatically adjusts for bright, clear videos.
The enhanced Portrait mode captures impressive depth and subject outlines with dual cameras and powerful AI. Fun mode, meanwhile, delivers playful filters and effects that now work with the Ultra-wide lens. Photo Remaster can help enhance old and low-quality photos while Object Eraser removes photo bombers from the backgrounds of images.
With up to two-day battery life, the phone also supports 25W Super Fast Charging.
Along with the Tough Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen material, the phone is also IP67 water and dust resistant.
Secured by the defense-grade Samsung Knox, Galaxy A53 5G helps to ensure data and information stays protected.
