Display technology company Skyworth has announced a trademark licensing agreement (TMLA) that will allow the company to offer Philips branded TVs in the North American market.
Skyworth says the strategic agreement combines its expertise in TV technology with Philips’ established and recognizable brand name and reputation for reliability and consumer trust, as well as the brand’s distribution network.

Skyworth’s current TV line includes the Clarus Outdoor TVs, Canvas Art TVs, and the Companion Portable Display. With this agreement, Skyworth will be able to offer its advancements through the Philips brand. Philips’ participation, meanwhile, represents the company’s seal of approval in Skyworth’s premium experience and technology.
“This agreement represents a significant milestone for Skyworth as we continue our expansion in North America,” says Fangfang Li, CEO, Skyworth USA. “Combining Skyworth’s innovative technology and design with Philips’ trusted brand recognition allows us to offer consumers an unparalleled home entertainment experience. We are confident that this collaboration will bring exciting new choices and experiences to the North American market.”
With this partnership, the complete line of Philips branded TVs will continue to be offered.
