Erikson Consumer Home Division has announced partnerships with two UK brands; Spendor Audio and Chord Electronics. Under the agreement, Erikson Consumer Home will be the exclusive distributor for both brands across Canada.

Spendor Audio is a UK-based speaker company that manufacturers all products in Sussex, England. Spendor was founded in the late 1960s by Spencer and Dorothy Hughes, hence the name. Spencer was an engineer in the BBC’s sound department prior to founding his own company and the creation of the studio monitor he called the BC1.

Chord Electronics is well known for their award-winning amplifiers that are used commercially by the BBC, Sony Music, and The Royal Opera House. Chord expanded their product line to include a range of home products including amplifiers and pre-amplifiers, streamers and up-scalers, as well as mobile and transportable DACS.

Spendor Audio and Chord Electronics products will be available and shipping from Erikson Consumer’s Montreal headquarters within the next few weeks.
